Here I have displayed some actual stone susans folks have ordered. This was started in January of 2004. Yours might be up here next!!
The hole in the center is for a patio umbrella pole that the client needed.
This next one is called Blue Pearl. I think that it’s aptly named. It displays very similar irridescent properties as mother of pearl does. It may be difficult to truely appreciate the exquisite features in this stone until you stop and realize that this is not something man made. This was created by nature. As you turn the susan, different planes and angles reflect the light in a ghostly bluish color. I have included extra closeups of this amazing stone to give you an idea as to it’s true beauty.
The blue colors you see is light actually being reflected from pieces inside the stone of the susan.
This next one is called Butterfly Green. This sample is 16 inches in diameter. It is a dark green in color and displays very similar irridescent properties as the Blue Pearl does. I have again included extra closeups to give you an idea as to it’s true beauty.
Below are examples of the Paradise Dark. This piece is 24 inches in diameter
